The Bloomfield Estates Improvement Association, Inc. is a voluntary non-profit corporation made up of interested property owners in the subdivision. The Association strives to maintain the beauty and charm of our neighborhood. It collects modest annual dues to support its activities. A large part of the Association’s role is to ensure continued compliance with the deed restrictions of the subdivision. A copy of the restrictions is posted on this website. Building plans are reviewed for compliance with deed restrictions.
We maintain contacts with Bloomfield Township, the City of Bloomfield Hills, and Birmingham to make sure governmental and private activities do not harm members of our subdivision. We contact those jurisdictions and ask for assistance in resolving problems, when necessary.
The Association also maintains the common areas of the subdivision, including the pond, grass areas and the pillars located at Charing Cross and Woodward Avenue. We publish a newsletter periodically to keep members aware of newsworthy events or concerns. The Association has an annual meeting in the spring and a summer picnic. We hope to see you at the next annual meeting and picnic!
